Setting Up Google Drive

EZTrack360 allows users to integrate Google Drive for seamless file management. Follow these steps to connect your Google Drive account and start managing your files.

Step 1: Navigate to Google Integration Settings

  1. Click the settings gear icon ⚙️ in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Scroll to the Google Integration section in the Settings menu.

Step 2: Connect Google Drive

  1. In the Google Integration section, locate the option to connect your Google Drive.
  2. Click the Connect button.
  3. Sign in to your Google account when prompted, and grant EZTrack360 access to manage your Google Drive files.

Note: Ensure that you authorize the required permissions to enable the integration.

Step 3: Verify the Connection

  1. Return to the Google Integration section in Settings to check the connection status of your Google Drive. The status will indicate if the integration was successfully established.

Using Google Drive in EZTrack360

Once your Google Drive is connected, you can access and manage your files directly within EZTrack360. Follow the guidelines below for common tasks:

Navigating Google Drive

  1. Click FILES in the left sidebar, then select Drive. This will open the Google Drive interface in EZTrack360.
  2. Browse through your files and folders. Use the search bar at the top to find specific files quickly.
  3. Switch between Grid view and List view using the view mode buttons.

Creating a New Folder

  1. Click the Create Folder button.
  2. Enter a name for the new folder in the dialog box.
  3. Click Create to add the folder to the current directory.

Renaming a File or Folder

  1. Locate the file or folder you want to rename.
  2. Open the options menu by clicking the vertical ellipsis () next to the file or folder.
  3. Select Rename from the dropdown menu.
  4. Enter the new name and click Save.

Deleting and Restoring Files

EZTrack360 supports both soft delete (moving files to the trash) and permanent delete options:

  1. Click the options menu () next to the file you want to delete.
  2. Select Move to Trash to soft delete the file.
  3. To permanently delete, navigate to the trash view by enabling the Show Trash toggle.
  4. Select the file and choose Permanently Delete.
  5. Restoring files is also handled in the trash view. Locate the file, click Restore, and confirm the restoration.

Additional Features

  • File Search: Use the search bar to quickly locate files and folders.
  • View File Details: Click on a file to view metadata such as file size, created and modified dates, and owners.
  • Starred Files: Mark important files as starred for quick access, and toggle the Show Starred view to focus only on starred files.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues connecting your Google Drive or managing files, ensure the following:

  • You have an active internet connection.
  • EZTrack360 is authorized in your Google account settings under third-party applications.
  • Contact your system administrator if permissions are restricted or if additional setup is required.
